The IT labour market is under pressure, and increasingly so. Demand is increasing. Baby boomers are beginning to retire. Post-secondary rollments in IT and related programs have dropped dramatically over the past five years. Increased reliance on immigrants and offshoring will help but it is not enough. This report focuses on proposed action steps for addressing the enrollments challenge and how to understand the situation.
